Admitted for 2024
Students admitted for the fall semester participate in Spring or Summer Orientation on one of the following days:
- Friday, January 5, 2024
- Friday, May 17, 2024
- Friday, June 21, 2024
- Saturday, July 13, 2024
- Friday, August 9, 2024
- Friday, August 16, 2024
You will take care of the business of becoming a member of the 蓝色的field State community including: learning about academic requirements, meeting with an academic advisor, registering for your fall classes, receiving your Student ID, and learning about your new college.

Beckley Students
If you attend the Beckley site, and you cannot attend a Summer Freshman Orientation program, you have the option to complete the online program. Once completed, you will be able to register for your fall classes.
Veteran Students
Thank you for your service! We want to make sure that your transition to 蓝色的field State is as positive and productive as possible, and that all begins with orientation. Please contact Veteran’s Assistance before your first semester starts.
If you will be residing on campus during the semester, be sure to complete the 住房 application. T在这里 are many on and off-campus 住房 options to suit your needs. For more information visit the Office of 住房 & Residence Life 网站.
Before Arriving
Before Arriving on campus, please make sure you have completed the following:
- Submit your required health documents. For specific immunization requests, go 在这里.
- Living on campus? 应用 for 住房 as soon as possible to ensure you obtain a room. For questions, check with the Office of 住房 & Residence Life at (304) 327-4708.
- Check with the Financial 援助 Office to ensure all your paperwork is completed. Contact them at (304) 327-4020.
- Check with the Business Office to ensure all necessary documents are complete. Contact them at (304) 327-4450.
